Bringing hope to the community
Since 2008, UHope CDC, founded by Aletha Scott-Mallory in Sandy Springs, Georgia, has been dedicated to transforming the lives of homeless men and veterans. With over 1,000 men assisted, UHope offers housing solutions, support services, and community programs designed to empower individuals to regain stability and hope. Committed to compassion and faith, UHope not only provides shelter but also builds a supportive community to foster lasting change.
Spreading hope throughout the community
UHope CDC is a beacon of hope for homeless men and veterans in our community. We offer emergency shelter, transitional and permanent housing, and personalized support to help men reclaim their lives. Beyond housing, we actively contribute to community initiatives like Toys-for-Tots, spreading joy to children in need every holiday season. Our youth outreach program empowers young men aged 18-25 by providing housing and vital resources, ensuring that the next generation has the support they need to thrive.
Veteran Assistance
Veterans who have served our country deserve dignity, respect, and a place to call home. UHope CDC is proud to provide permanent housing and tailored support to homeless veterans, helping them transition from instability to independence. We understand the unique challenges veterans face and are committed to honoring their service by walking alongside them every step of the way toward a brighter future.
Emergency Shelter
Our emergency shelter program offers immediate, short-term housing for men of all ages who are at risk of or currently experiencing homelessness. Providing up to 30 days of safe refuge, this program gives individuals the critical time and support needed to stabilize their situation, access resources, and plan for long-term housing solutions. At UHope, no one faces homelessness alone.
Uhope Ministries
At the heart of UHope CDC is a faith-based commitment to healing and community. We invite our residents and supporters to join us in Christian fellowship every Sunday and Bible study on Wednesday nights. These ministries provide spiritual guidance, encouragement, and a sense of belonging, nurturing the whole person—body, mind, and spirit—as they rebuild their lives.
